Plushies for Charity

I have been feeling in the giving mood since I had my knee surgery and spent time in a hospital-like setting. The plan is 6 dolls, 3 girls and 3 boys one each of caucasian, tan, and dark skintone and then donate them to a local charity.

Will post thumbnails as plushies completed. When I hit my 6 (give or take), I shall donate them all.

First set of 6 donated on 8/23/2006
to Volunteers of America, Eleanor Corbett House:

Second set of 5 donated on 12/20/06

DFC: Drawings For Charity

Okay, so I'm plushie-sewing instead of drawing but it still helps charity. DFC is a little organization set up by another webcomic artist. It was designed for drawing artists, but anyone can participate. Visit the DFC website for the specifics involved.

The basic premise is, people who comission me for plushies add $2.50 to their total for donation. Then I match that $2.50 and make a total donation of $5 per doll to Drawings For Charity.
